DWTS’ Jackson Olson Says He Was “Canceled” for Guillermo Rodriguez Diss

Celebrity News

Jackson Olson won’t be making another foul.

The Dancing With the Stars contestant poked fun at his struggles a week after he sparked controversy for making a jab at costar Guillermo Rodriguez’s dancing abilities, joking that getting “canceled” was just one of his woes.

In an Oct. 11 TikTok, Olson captured his pro dance partner Emma Slater leaving the rehearsal studio with her boyfriend—and fellow pro—Alan Bersten as the couple mouthed along to High School Musical 2’s song “Gotta Go My Own Way.”

The Savannah Bananas player wrote atop the clip, “When your dance partner has to leave you for her boyfriend.”

Meanwhile, he also noted his baseball team’s Oct. 11 loss to the Texas Tailgaters in the inaugural Banana Bowl championship, adding in the caption, “First I get canceled, then we lose the Banana Bowl and now this?!”

Before Slater waltzed out of the room with Bersten, Olson had written in a since-deleted comment under a video of another athlete recreating one of Rodriguez and partner Witney Carson’s dances, per Cosmopolitan, “Seriously how did you do this better than him with 2 hours of rehearsal.”
