Big Brother: Barrett Plots a Blindside Against Dee and Drew

Television News

Is it really Big Brother without a pre-eviction Waffle Wednesday?

And this week, the live feeds were filled with back-and-forth as the truth about Dee targeting Mallory came to light.

The big surprise? Barrett grew a backbone and actually decided to go to a side of the house that didn’t involve the icons.

It all went downhill when Barrett and Drew got wind of Dee’s plan to evict Mallory from the house if she was on the block at the eviction.

Usually, Barrett would follow Dee’s rule, no matter what, but something’s shifted in him over the last few days.

Maybe he’s realized that Angela, Dee, and Rick are all working together and that he will never be Dee’s number one.

I don’t know, but he made it known to Dee that he wishes he had tried harder in the Week 7 Head of Household competition.

This made Dee wonder whether he threw the competition.

When Barrett left the HOH room, he conspired with Mallory, Melody, and Mallory to work on a plan to blindside the veterans and send Drew packing.

Big Brother Season 28 Is About to Get Very Interesting

That’s right, folks. Barrett is so on board with Mallory that he’s already plotting Drew’s demise.

This is huge because Dee feels like she smoothed things over with Barrett and is cautious about breaking a tie that would evict Drew, since she’s worried it would burn the bridge with Barrett once and for all.

Barrett seems dead set on working with Yash to blindside the veterans, and honestly, it’s about damn time.

Barrett has spent so long playing the middle, and he knows it’s time he has to pick a side or be picked off, one by one.

What I don’t know is whether he will blindside Dee or tell her his plans pre-eviction.

I suspect part of him would want to inform Dee of his plans, but it all hinges on whether he can get the votes.

The Big Brother Blockbuster is a key component of the plan on the reality TV hit. Mallory is probably only safe if there’s a vote between her and Drew.

Yash will not cast a vote to evict Taylor. Same goes for LaTrice.

As a result, Barrett is even working on Hayley to rally some more votes to keep Mallory.

Hayley pointed out that she’s working with the veterans because she has to at this point in the game.

Numbers are dwindling, and Mallory and Melody have never tried to work with her.

It seems like Barrett managed to convince Hayley, but at this point, I expect her to stick with the veterans.

There’s no incentive for her to work with the other side of the house.

She’d be their perpetual pawn, and that’s not fun.

One thing that threatens to derail the episode is if Drew throws the Big Brother Blockbuster.

He is adamant that he wants Mallory to win, and I hope, for his sake, he puts his all into winning the competition.

There’s a chance he goes home if he doesn’t win.

Honestly, this is the toughest eviction to call so far because so many things are up in the air.

It would be thrilling to see the veterans blindsided because they’ve been doing it to the rest of the house throughout Big Brother Season 28.
