The Horror of Delores Roach TV Show on Prime Video: canceled or renewed?

The axe has fallen on three Prime Video scripted shows before the holiday. The streaming service has cancelled The Horror of Dolores Roach, Harlen Coben’s Shelter after one season apiece, and With Love after two seasons, per Deadline.

Starring Justina Machado, Alejandro Hernandez, Kita Updike, and K. Todd Freeman, The Horror of Dolores Roach is a dark comedy series that follows a woman (Machado) trying to rebuild her life after her release from a 16-year stint in prison.

Harlen Coben’s Shelter is based on Coben’s trilogy of novels and stars Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Adrian Greensmith, Abby Corrigan, and Sage Linder. Season one is based on the first novel in the trilogy, and it follows a teenager (Michael) as he deals with the many changes in his life.

The With Love series follows the Diaz siblings struggling with their love lives. Emeraude Toubia, Mark Indelicato, Rome Flynn, Desmond Chiam, Vincent Rodriguez III, Isis King, Todd Grinnell, Constance Marie, and Benito Martinez star in the dramedy.

The series are the latest cancellations coming out of the long industry strikes and reflect streamers cutting costs.
