Boygenius will appear on Saturday Night Live as musical guests on November 11, joining host Timothée Chalamet. The performance marks Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker’s respective SNL debuts. Bridgers made her own solo debut on the show in 2021, performing songs from her album Punisher and smashing a guitar onstage. Chalamet first hosted the show—and appeared as Harry Styles—back in 2020 alongside musical guest Bruce Springsteen.

Bridgers, Baker, and Dacus released their debut album as Boygenius, The Record, this year. They also shared an additional four-song EP titled The Rest on October 13. Also earlier this month, they performed The Record track “Cool About It” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

So far in its 49th season, SNL has featured musical guests Ice Spice, Bad Bunny, and Foo Fighters. The show returned to the air this month after a hiatus brought on by the Writer’s Guild of America strike, which began in May and concluded in late September.
