After teasing it weeks in advance, the Weeknd has released the new song “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength),” which he made for the new movie Avatar: The Way of Water. The track, which has been featured in an official teaser trailer for the film, was written by the Weeknd and produced by Swedish House Mafia and composer Simon Franglen. Listen to “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” below.

The Weeknd has written, recorded, and released multiple successful songs for movies. The singer’s 2014 Fifty Shades of Grey single “Earned It,” reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has gone multi-platinum, and his 2018 Black Panther song “Pray for Me” peaked at No. 7 on the singles chart and has also been certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.

The Weeknd’s latest album, Dawn FM, was released in January. Last month, he announced that he’ll be extending his After Hours Til Dawn Tour into 2023, with dates in Europe and Latin America running until the fall.
