Lil Uzi Vert’s Pronouns Are They/Them

The rapper’s team confirmed the news, which was originally revealed on their Instagram bio

Lil Uzi Vert’s pronouns are now they/them, a spokesperson for the rapper confirmed to Pitchfork. Lil Uzi Vert had recently adjusted their Instagram bio to include the pronouns. And, shortly after the bio change, the rapper Yeat tweeted, “Yo they 🤾🏼‍♀️,” to which Lil Uzi Vert replied, “Yo yeat.”

Lil Uzi Vert is preparing to release the Red & White EP, and in the meantime, has released two new songs via SoundCloud, “I Know” and “Space Cadet.” Listen to both below.

Lil Uzi Vert’s last album was 2020’s Eternal Atake. Shortly after that album’s release, the rapper dropped an expanded edition of the LP titled Eternal Atake (Deluxe) – LUV vs. The World 2. In the fall of 2020, Lil Uzi Vert linked up with Future for their joint album Pluto x Baby Pluto.

In March 2021, Lil Uzi Vert appeared on the deluxe version of Justin Bieber’s latest full-length Justice, hopping on a song called “There She Go.” In late 2021, they shared the new song “Demon High.”
