Double O Records, the Austin, Texas based record label paving the way for emerging artists, made a grand introduction with the first official single, “Came A Long Way,” off their forthcoming album, “Full Circle.” The label’s protégé, Dubbo, collaborates on the track with his peers OTM Thraxx and Blackland – creating a dynamic soundscape filled with weightless melodies and hard-hitting verses. Over soulful production from The Bird House and Quartaton, Dubbo, OTM Thraxx, and Blackland move from section to section seamlessly, creating an exciting debut track and showing listeners their chemistry in the process.
On the heels of releasing the gritty Kade Fresco-directed video, Dubbo is preparing to share the stage with Conway the Machine, Stove God Cooks, Young Roddy, Grip, redveil, Chelly Flame, Cap Gold & more at the 2022 official SXSW Takeover on Thursday, March 17th in Austin, TX.
Partnering with Babygrande Records, Double O is poised to attract artists from across the country and build a roster of diverse talent. It all started when Dubbo’s go-to producer, The Bird House, Donnie Cash, and Cady Falkner recognized Dubbo’s penchant for creating raucous, energetic anthems. Dubbo and Double O proceeded to sign with Babygrande and since then, have put in countless months of work together to develop Dubbo’s sound, build out his brand, secure a nationwide tour, and create multiple successful singles in the process.
