Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees Cancel U.S. Tour Three Days Before Kickoff

Music News

Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees have pulled their U.S. tour three days before the opening date in Florida, Variety reports. While no explanation was offered by the artists or Live Nation Entertainment, ticketholders were emailed information on refunds last night (August 6). Tickets for the tour’s European leg remain on sale. Pitchfork has emailed the artists’ representatives for comment.

Hill and the Fugees announced the tour in June, partly to replace shows canceled last November, when Hill said performing was not “safe or sustainable” due to vocal strain. The dates were billed as another 25th anniversary tour of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, and Drake
