Kendrick Lamar is already back with another Drake diss. âMeet the Grahams,â the Compton artistâs third track of the weekâfollowing âEuphoriaâ and â6:16 in LAââarrives within an hour of Drakeâs barbed response, âFamily Matters.â Find the latest new song below.
Lamar opens âMeet the Grahamsâ by addressing Drakeâs son, Adonis Graham:
Next, Lamar address Drakeâs mother, Sandra Graham: âDear Sandra, your son got some habits/I hope you donât undermine them.â He saves some harsh words for Drakeâs father, Dennis GrahamââYou raised a horrible fuckinâ person/The nerve of you, Dennisââbefore turning back to Sandra: âYour sonâs a sick man with sick thoughts/I think n—-s like him should die/Him and Weinstein should get fucked up in a cell for the rest of they life.â He continues, âAnd weâve gotta raise our daughters knowing thereâs predators like him lurkinâ/Fuck a rap battle, he should die, so all of these women can live with a purpose.â
Later, Lamar raps to a figure he calls âbaby girlâ: âIâd like to say itâs not your fault that heâs hiding another child/Give him grace/Thatâs the reason I made Mr. Morale.â The lyrics are, at the very least, in reference to Pusha Tâs famous Drake diss âThe Story of Adidon.â
Addressing Drake directly, Lamar explains that heâs gone so viciously after Drake because he brought the Californianâs family into the rap beef. âWhy you had to stoop so low to discredit some decent people?â he asks, âGuess integrity is lost when the metaphors doesnât reach you.â He closes the track, âFuck a rap battle/This a lifelong battle with yourself.â
