Sweeping Promises were guests on this week’s episode of The Best Show With Tom Scharpling. The Kansas-based rock band stopped by the Forever Dog Studio in Los Angeles, where Lira Mondal, Caufield Schnug, and Spenser Gralla performed six songs from the new album Good Living Is Coming for You: “Eraser,” “Hunger for a Way Out,” the title track, “You Shatter,” “Ideal No,” and “Connoisseur of Salt.”
They then sat down with Tom Scharpling to discuss the fashion decisions of the bands Lit and Good Charlotte, recording music in Schnug’s parents’ bathroom, life with their own recording studio, and more. Watch it happen below, and find video of the full episode on Patreon.
The band’s appearance on The Best Show follows Scharpling’s recent 24-hour radio marathon, which featured appearances from Vampire Weekend, Bill Hader, Nathan Fielder, Marc Maron, Benjamin Gibbard, King Tuff, Sarah Sherman, Sarah Silverman, Bob Odenkirk, and more.
