Gucci Mane Unleashes Diss Track After Alleged Kidnapping by Pooh Shiesty

Music News

One week after he was allegedly kidnapped, held at gunpoint, and robbed by his 1017 label artist Pooh Shiesty, Gucci Mane has responded with “Crash Dummy,” a new diss track produced by Zaytoven. At least it certainly seems like a response: He never calls out Pooh by name on the song, which you can listen to below, but Gucci isn’t exactly hiding who he’s talking about:

“I thought it was a business meeting, but it was a set up,” he raps. And, “Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy / And after all that, boy, you still signed to me.” And, “They smile in your face, then they stab you in your back / You learn from your daddy, so I guess that it’s hereditary”— a reference to Pooh Shiesty’s father, who was also allegedly involved in what the DOJ has called “an armed takeover” at Gucci’s Dallas studio.

Pooh Shiesty and Big30 were later arrested alongside multiple other suspects on federal robbery and kidnapping charges. If convicted, they face life in prison.

In 2025, Gucci Mane released a new memoir and accompanying album called Episodes.
