‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ International Tickets On Sale Nov. 9; Premieres Set For LA & London

Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, the theatrical release chronicling Beyoncé’s global world tour, will premiere in Los Angeles Nov. 25 and London Nov. 30 before hitting movie theaters around the world December 1. Tickets will be available Nov. 9 in most international markets including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and the Caribbean, Parkwood Entertainment and distributor AMC Entertainment said.

The film will air Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with multiple showtimes programmed throughout the day.

Tickets for all standard domestic showtimes will start at $22 plus tax, with comparable pricing at international locations.

The world tour the film is based on spanned 56 shows, 39 cities, and 12 countries opening in Stockholm and ending in Kansas City with more than 2.7 million attending.

AMC is capitalizing on the big screen fever for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour with another massive concert film, very welcome at a box office that’s seen its theatrical release schedule shaken up by the ongoing actors strike. Eras Tour has grossed $179 million worldwide ($132 million domestic) since opening this month.

The giant exhibitor is releasing Renaissance in partnership with Parkwood, Beyoncé’s film production company and record label. Similar to Eras Tour, AMC will playing Renaissance on the weekends for at least four weeks. NYC based distributor Variance is booking cinemas on behalf of AMC in the US, while Cineplex is booking Canada and Cinepolis is booking Central America and Trafalgar Releasing is handling outside North America.
