Grandaddy have a new LP on the way: Blu Wav is out February 16 via Dangerbird. The lead single, “Watercooler,” comes with a music video directed and edited by Aaron Beckum. Watch it below.

Blu Wav is Jason Lytle and Grandaddy’s first all-new studio album since March 2017’s Last Place, and Lytle said in a press release that it has “an inordinate amount of pedal steel.” In between albums, the band reissued Under the Western Freeway, The Sophtware Slump, and Sumday. The new album is also the band’s first since the death of bassist Kevin Garcia in the spring of 2017.
