Thundercat has released a Listerine-influenced theme song for the brand’s new Whoa Collection. The campaign, which also includes a new bottle design by visual artist King Saladeen, supports Increasing Diversity in Dentistry, a nonprofit that aims to help aspiring Black dental professionals. Check out Thundercat’s contribution, laden with mouthwashy samples, below. Also below, see one of the new Listerine bottles.

The mouthwash brand developed the Whoa Collection with the marketing agency Compound, and up to $150,000 of its proceeds will go toward Increasing Diversity in Dentistry. Dr. Jeanette Sabir-Holloway founded the organization in 2010 to help correct the racial disparities in dental health; according to a press release, only four percent of dentists in the United States are Black.

Since issuing his LP It Is What It Is in 2020, Thundercat has made guest appearances on new material from Gorillaz, Kaytranada, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. Earlier this year, he joined Vic Mensa and Maeta for “Strawberry Louis Vuitton.” Thundercat more recently teamed up with Tame Impala for April’s “No More Lies.” He’s set to tour the United States and parts of South America this fall.
