In 1993, Buss brought professional roller hockey to Los Angeles as the owner of the LA Blades. Jeanie is currently also using her experience and expertise to lead a revival of WOW – Women of Wrestling. In 2020, she became the first female Governor to win an NBA Championship, as the Lakers tied a league record with their 17th title. Jeanie represents the Lakers on the NBA’s Board of Governors and is currently a member of the NBA Advisory and Finance Committee and the NBA Labor Committee.
