Phoebe Bridgers, Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan, and Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst will appear in a new horror film from We’re All Going to the World’s Fair director Jane Schoenbrun, as The Hollywood Reporter and IndieWire report.

Titled I Saw the TV Glow, the upcoming movie follows two teenagers—played by Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Paine—as they obsess over a scary TV show and begin to question the difference between TV and reality.

Bridgers’ involvement comes by way of her role in the band Sloppy Jane, which as The Hollywood Reporter points out, will be featured in the film along with the band King Woman. The film’s cast includes Amber Benson, Ian Foreman, Conner O’Malley, Michael Maronna, Emma Portner, and Danny Tamberelli.

“Just honored beyond belief to announce that I’m acting in the fucking genius Jane Schoenbrun’s new movie I Saw the TV Glow,” Jordan of Snail Mail wrote on Instagram.

The film is produced by A24 and Emma Stone’s Fruit Tree. Schoenbrun’s most recent film, We’re All Going to the World’s Fair, was a breakout hit at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, with a soundtrack composed by Alex G.
