Ellie Goulding has shared a Four Tet remix of her track “Easy Lover.” Teasing the song, Goulding tweeted, “I’ve been a fan of @FourTet forever…. Particularly obsessed with this one.” The original track—featuring Big Sean and written and produced with Julia Michaels and Greg Kurstin—was released earlier this year. Check out the remix below.
Goulding’s most recent album is 2020’s Brightest Blue. Earlier this month, Four Tet shared a pair of new tracks, “Mango Feedback” and “Watersynth.” Kieran Hebden’s last Four Tet albums were 2021’s Parallel and 871, complementary LPs that followed 2020’s Sixteen Oceans. In June, he settled a streaming dispute with his former label Domino.
Goulding and Four Tet have collaborated in previous years, most recently with Goulding’s vocals being used on on Four Tet’s 2020 single “Baby.” Four Tet also released a remix of Goulding’s 2013 hit “Burn” and sampled her single “The Writer” for his track “Back2TheStart.”
