Roddy Ricch Has Weapons Possession Charges Dismissed

The rapper was arrested on Saturday night while trying to enter Governors Ball

On Saturday night, June 11, Roddy Ricch was arrested while trying to enter Governors Ball and was unable to perform at the Queens, New York festival. He was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, one count of possession of a large capacity ammo feeding device, and one count of unlawful possession of a large capacity ammo feeding device. The criminal charges have now been dismissed, according to the Daily News and Rolling Stone.

On Sunday night, Ricch performed at Hot 97 Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. According to footage posted on social media, the rapper led the crowd in chanting “Fuck the NYPD!”
