Blood Incantation have announced a new ambient album called Timewave Zero. The cosmic death metal band’s follow-up to 2019’s Hidden History of the Human Race is out February 25. Find the album cover below.

Blood Incantation recorded their new album at Denver’s World Famous Studios. The standard edition features two songs—The 21-minute “Io” and the nearly-20-minute “Ea”—while a limited CD edition includes a third song, “Chronophagia,” which runs 27 minutes and 37 seconds.

“An astute listening to our previous recordings reveals a gradual and deliberate increase of Experimental, Progressive and Psychedelic components,” Blood Incantation said in a statement. “Timewave Zero is the distillation of these elements into a concentrated piece; stripping away the Metal and emphasizing the Dark, Cinematic, and exceedingly Cosmic atmosphere our music is known for.”
