We might be OK, but we’re not fine at all—Taylor Swift just released her achingly beautiful short film!
In addition to dropping her re-recorded Red album on Friday, Nov. 12, the superstar singer released a short film for her 10-minute version of ”All Too Well.” Swift starred in the visual—which she wrote and directed—alongside Teen Wolf alum Dylan O’Brien and Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink.
Before Swifties around the world got to see the film, she treated New York fans to a special premiere. “We have provided tissues,” Swift told the crowd. “You do not need to be stoic, serious, or anything that you are not if that is not how you want to feel during this. Be yourselves. I love you. I’m gonna watch this with you. I’m very proud, and I’ll see you after.”
Following the showing, she performed the 10-minute version of her 2012 ballad live in the auditorium.
The Grammy winner, who is re-recording her earliest albums amid her ongoing music battle, first announced Red (Taylor’s Version) in June. ”I’ve always said that the world is a different place for the heartbroken,” she wrote in a letter to fans. ”It moves on a different axis, at a different speed. Time skips backwards and forwards fleetingly.”
