A new movie about Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne is in the works, Variety reports. The as-yet-untitled biopic is being developed by Polygram Entertainment, the film and television branch of Universal Music Group. The Osbournes’ children Aimée and Jack will also produce the film via Osbourne Media.
In a statement to Variety, Sharon Osbourne said, “Our relationship at times was often wild, insane and dangerous but it was our undying love that kept us together. We’re thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures and Polygram to bring our story to the screen.”
Lee Hall, the writer of the Elton John biopic Rocketman, is drafting the script for the movie, according to Variety. In addition, the film will reportedly feature songs from Black Sabbath and also Ozzy Osbourne’s solo career.
