After touring together last autumn, Arooj Aftab and Khruangbin have reconnected for a new remix of “Raat Ki Rani,” the lead single from Aftab’s 2024 album, Night Reign. Listen to the Houston psych-funk trio’s dubby take on the track, featuring re-recorded vocals from Aftab, below.
Aftab made her late-night television debut in December, playing “Raat Ki Rani” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. This year, she’s currently set to perform at numerous festivals in North America, South America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
Khruangbin’s latest album is 2024’s A La Sala,. They have a ton of shows lined up in support of the album.
