Bon Iver Postpones European Tour Over Coronavirus

Bon Iver have postponed their spring European tour in support of i,i until January 2021 in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The band’s April 27 show in Birmingham has been canceled outright; the April 15 and April 24 shows in Amsterdam and Lisbon, respectively, have yet to be rescheduled. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon performed a solo acoustic set at a Bernie Sanders rally in January 31 ahead of the Iowa Democratic primary, and the band is currently scheduled to play three shows in their home state of Wisconsin in October to encourage fans to vote in the 2020 presidential election as part of Bon Iver manager Kyle Frenette’s 46 for 46 campaign to defeat President Donald Trump.
